RCS Business Messaging

The Upgrade to Standard Texting

RCS replaces plain SMS with rich, interactive messages. Instead of a random number and a shortened link, customers see your verified business name, your logo, and a card with a live tracking preview. It works in the native messages app, with no download required.

Verified Sender Identity

Your business name, logo, and a carrier-verified badge appear at the top of the conversation. Customers know immediately who sent the message.

Rich Cards With Live Data

Every message includes a card showing the merchant header, a live map with the driver's position, ETA panel, and a four-stage delivery progress bar.

Automatic SMS Fallback

When a device or carrier does not support RCS, CIGO delivers the same update over standard SMS. Every customer is covered regardless of their phone.

The Delivery Lifecycle

Four Messages. Every Moment That Matters.

CIGO sends a short, event-driven sequence across each delivery. Typically three to four messages per order, each one timed to a real event in the job. No marketing blasts, no drip campaigns.

Scheduled delivery RCS card showing delivery date and progress bar

1. Scheduled Delivery

A rich card confirms the expected delivery date, shows the customer's name and address, and includes the four-stage progress bar. Supplier name, date, and address are merge fields populated from the CIGO job record.

Out for delivery RCS card with live map and ETA

2. Out for Delivery

Sent when the driver starts the route. The card switches to a live map showing the driver's position, route line, ETA, start time, drive time, and distance. All of it refreshes in real time on the tracking page.

Signature capture RCS card for proof of delivery

3. Signature

When the driver arrives, the customer signs directly on the tracking page. The signature is captured and attached to the job record as proof of delivery, visible to your team and the customer.

Delivered RCS card with review rating prompt

4. Delivered and Review

Confirms completion with all four progress stages green. The tracking page surfaces a review prompt with separate Delivery Experience and Sales Experience five-star ratings. This is the final message for the order.

One-Tap Tracking

Track Now Opens the Page You Already Run

Every card carries a Track Now button that opens the full CIGO tracking page in the device browser. It reuses the same tracking surface that powers your SMS and email notifications today.

  • Same live map, ETA panel, and delivery progress bar
  • Same ratings, proof of delivery, and signature capture
  • Card details are merge fields from the CIGO job record
  • No new backend, no app download, nothing to configure
SMS, Email, and RCS all open the same CIGO tracking page

Keywords That Work Instantly

Every CIGO message includes a one-tap STOP suggested reply, and all keywords are honored whether tapped or typed manually in any casing. The opt-out disclaimer is sent at the start of every program, satisfying carrier identification requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the carrier-standard upgrade to SMS. It lets businesses send verified messages with their name and logo, rich cards with images and buttons, and suggested replies, all inside the customer's native messages app. No app download required.
CIGO automatically falls back to standard SMS. The customer still receives the delivery notification and tracking link. There is no gap in coverage.
No. Track Now opens the same CIGO tracking page you already use for SMS and email notifications. Ratings, proof of delivery, and signatures remain in the same place. RCS only adds a branded, interactive entry point to it.
No message is sent until the customer opts in at checkout or at the point of order. The first message of every program includes the required automated-system disclaimer and STOP instructions.
Typically three to four. The exact count depends on the delivery lifecycle: a welcome message, a scheduled notification when the date is set, an in-progress update when the driver starts the route, and a delivered confirmation after drop-off.
English, French (Canada), and Spanish. Messages and the tracking page render in the customer's language, matched per delivery from the CIGO job record.
